Here are just a few
of the raving reviews
we've gotten from both parents and kids alike.
The best place to hang out with the kids. Beside
exercising they are learning respect and discipline. We love the
instructors, very caring, everyone matters to them.
Family oriented, love it!!!!!!!

"We have noticed a tremendous improvement in Seth's
self-confidence. He is more assertive and has greater self-esteem.
We have also seen changes in his leadership abilities. He takes
more initiative in leading others and is very comfortable doing
so."

"Mitchell is learning many new skills by training
at ATA. He knows how to defend himself in dangerous situations. It
is helping him set and achieve goals. He is developing leadership
skills and his self-confidence is increasing. He is also making
new friends who are both older and younger than he is."

"We signed up for taekwondo while Alex was in pre-k. At that time
we felt it would be good exercise, to build his self confidence,
and to help him with his respect for others. Since we've started
taking regular classes, Alex's self-confidence has grown beyond
our expectations. His manners have improved as well as his
self-control. Plus the rewards of moving up ranks and earning new
belts always keep him interested and excited about coming to
class."

"Her manners have drastically improved and she really has gained a
lot of confidence through ATA Martial Arts. I would recommend this
program to anybody thinking about martial arts training."

I have been a student of ATA Martial Arts for five years. In this
time I have enjoyed improved strength fitness and flexibility.
Mrs. Hughes has a wonderful ability to take what we are learning
and apply it to everyday situations. The classes are always
relevant and challenging. I feel that because I have been trained
at this top-notch school, I am more capable of taking care of
myself and my family if the need should arise. I have only had
great experiences as a student at ATA Martial Arts and I will
continue to train there and refer my family, friends, and patients
there as well.

My family has been involved with martial arts through the
Lawrenceville ATA facility. It has been a wonderful experience. My
children began taking Taekwondo classes with ATA many years ago,
and have risen through the ranks. During their training time, they
have learned not only self-defense techniques, and become
physically fit, but additionally they have incorporated other
values like self-control, discipline, goal setting, and
leadership. The qualified instructors at ATA take a personal
interest in their students, and encourage them to work to the best
of their abilities.

“My three grandsons and I have been involved at the Lawrenceville
ATA Martial Arts for the past seven years. I originally enrolled
my youngest grandson Bailey in the Academy’s Tiny Tiger program.
Bailey has autism. Initially, he was very shy in class. His
attention span and coordination was very limited, and he exhibited
little desire to get involved. The Academy’s staff was very
patient and worked closely with Bailey. His transformation was
phenomenal. Not only did he progress through the Tiny Tiger
program but graduated into the Karate for Kids program. Recently,
he achieved his Third-degree Black Belt which is the highest rank
a young man his age can achieve. He is so much more
self-confident, more athletic, and is very much goal oriented both
at the Academy, at home and at school. In fact, Bailey is now
being integrated into regular classes at school and his special
education teacher is recommending he participate in the school’s
track team next year. We owe a lot to ATA Taekwondo for Bailey’s
transformation.
Bailey two older brothers (twins) joined the Academy about six
months after Bailey. They also progressed through the program and
achieved their third-degree black belts. They also participated in
the Academy’s Black Belt Leadership Program. They both now are in
high school and their taekwondo training is very evident in how
they handle themselves as teenagers and how they interact with
their teachers and select their friends. Both now participate in
high school football and readily will tell you that their
taekwondo training has helped them as football players in such
areas as leverage, physical conditioning, and toughness. I also
believe that the taekwondo and leadership they learned at the
Academy has trained them in taking goal-achieving approaches in
their academics.
As for myself, I have only been in Taekwondo for two years and am
closing in on my black belt. I am retired and believe I may be the
oldest (or close to the oldest) student at the Academy. Initially,
I had no intentions of being involved in the activity but finally
joined at the insistence of the former Academy Director and to
stop the harassment I was getting from my grandsons. Boy, am I
glad I joined. My taekwondo training has increased my flexibility
and balance many fold. I see myself as having so much more
flexibility and stamina than others several years younger than I.
Although I maintain a regular work-out routine at home, the
additional physical training provided by the academy has
identified muscles that I had not been routinely exercising. I can
do so many more flexible activities than I could two years ago.
Additionally, the mental aspect of the activity has been
fantastic. I now must learn and remember various taekwondo forms
and defensive skills. This type of memory training and retention
is so important for older people.
Thank you so much Mrs. Hughes and the rest of the staff at ATA
Martial Arts in Lawrenceville.”
We have had a wonderful experience at Lawrenceville ATA Martial
Arts. Our whole family is enrolled - Adult classes, Karate Kids,
and Tiny Tigers. We especially enjoy the opportunity to practice
all together in Family class. Mrs. Hughes is a very knowledgeable
instructor who demonstrates patience as she caters to each skill
level - often at the same time.
We have seen remarkable results from our children. The Karate Kids
has increased their respectfulness and boosted their self
confidence. The Tiny Tigers classes have helped our youngest
remarkably with his coordination. As adults, we not only enjoy the
Black Belt Club classes, but we also get a challenging work out in
the Fit Class.
Joining Lawrenceville ATA has made our family closer because we
practice and exercise together as a family.

My son Zander and I have been training at ATA Martial Arts in
Lawrenceville for almost 6 years. Zander was invited to ATA
Martial Arts by a friend, and it’s been a great journey. This has
been the perfect fit for him. This school has allowed him to
develop at a pace that has worked for him. He has learned self
discipline, respect, integrity, self control, confidence and
leadership skills.
Zander has learned that it takes goals and hard work to achieve
things in life. He also learned that you don’t always win and
that’s okay. To learn from and encourage others even when they
beat you in a competition and above all, to persevere.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time there as students and part of
the ATA family.

Lawrenceville ATA Martial Arts completely changed my life. I know
that when I walk through the door, I am greeted with smiles and
friendly faces. Everyone is quite inspiring with there persistence
and team effort as we progress through our journey in Taekwondo. I
could not ask for better instructors! The amount of confidence
that is building in our team is amazing. I find that those that
were shy and soft spoken now walk into school with their head held
high shining with self esteem and motivation. Thanks to our
instructors and the atmosphere of our school, we are able to
strive towards what is most important, bettering ourselves and our
lives.

Since starting taekwondo over a year ago, Cooper has shown a
greater understanding of martial arts and self defense. His
balance and coordination have also improved. We have enjoyed
becoming a part of the ATA family!
Happy Tiny Tiger Parent
Since starting taekwondo, my daughter has become more confident
and less shy. It has been a joy to watch her grow and mature while
participating in a sport that she loves.
Reccommened Black Belt Mom
I put my little Princess in ATA Taekwondo, Peachtree City. Ever
since then I ntoticed remarkable change in concentration, agility,
and discipline in her. She shows keeness in curricular and extra
curricular activities. She shows respect for elders and is quick
to follow instructions. Thanks a lot for her instructors and other
tutors for taking my child under them. Kudos to Peachtree City ATA
for effort and time. Dr. J.
Since starting taekwondo my child has a responsibility to be ready
for class and to be responsible for his uniform. It also teaches
respect for his teachers and to use his self defense lessons only
to protect himself or others in danger and to never use force
unless it is needed. It has been a great experience!
Impressed Dad
ATA has been a confidence builder for my son and daughter. They
used to be very shy, but now they are outgoing. What keeps their
attention is all the different areas of learrning the ATA offers.
Each day my children become steps closer at becoming a black belt
by learning forms, weapons, sparring and self defense. My son's
goal is to become a black belt and instuctor so he can teach his
sister to become as good as him. My daughter's goal is to become a
great black belt with superb technique. ATA has been a great sport
for my children. Happy Parents to a brother and sister team
I have two children that have been taking taekwondo for about four
years. They both completed the tiny tigers program and then moved
on to the juniors class. It has been a wonderful experience for
them. They love going to the high energy classes and have made
some great friends. They also love the idea of becomeing a black
belt. They are getting closer and closer to earning their blac
belt and their excitement is growing every day.
As a parent, I have loved watching them work hard to achieve their
goal. Taekwondo has done wonders for their coordination, focus,
and respect. The instructors ane wonderful and really seem to love
what they do. Taekwondo has become part of our lives and we are
enjoying every minute of it!
Proud Parent
We are overjoyed to be a part of the ATA family. We are proud to
to have a family of a third degree black belt and three second
degree black belts, plus everyone we've met. We enjoy each and
every class together and being with our awsome instructor. We love
traveling to tournaments and learning that winning is more than a
trophy or medal, but in meeting new friends and having fun.
The Family That Kicks Together Is Sticking Together
At what sport can the entire family participate? I found it ATA.
What better way to learn about self defense while bonding with
your 7-year-old son? It has been a great
way for me and my son to spend quality time together while
reinforcing the important principles of discipline and self
control. As for me, at age 46, this is also a
great way to stay in shape.
~Sheryl Collie
I have benefitted greatly from my Tae Kwon Do experience! I have
more muscle and more stamina to make it through my day! I may not
be as strong as my husband but I can
certainly outlast him!
